COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES: In mid-April, at a slate convention for Rotary, Vicki Turpen put together a table displaying the Monitor. She reports that she was able to talk to several people about the wonderful Monitor and hopes in the coming year to have this kind of outreach on other occasions.
TECH COMMITTEE: Now that most of the Tech room update is complete, the Tech committee is
wanting to dispose of our unused equipment. Please contact Wayne Hicks within the next week if
you would like to look at what’s available. Those items not claimed by our members will go to another
church’s Tech team for use and/or distribution to groups in need.
THE MOTHER CHURCH: The Mother Church is reaching out to all branches. The following is from a
recent communication.
The Church Activities Department at The Mother Church is spending the next couple of months reaching out to every
branch in the world to make a deeper connection and to better understand how The Mother Church can be helpful in
supporting your activities.
If you are interested in setting up a call with us, please send an email, call +1-617-450-2390, or send a WhatsApp
message to +1-617-450-2390.
Feel free to invite anyone from your branch who would be interested in sharing ideas with us.
We look forward to talking with you.
With much love and gratitude,
The Church Activities Department
READING ROOM: The annual audit of the Reading Room was completed this month and the team
found all to be in order. One of the windows in the Reading Room was broken and an old laptop
used for display was stolen. The window has been replaced.
HOUSE: The House committee has been doing minor plumbing repairs, has ordered pumps for the
boiler and is in preparation for touch-up exterior painting.
